Teaching sites

The Programma Italiano main site is in Turin, the most important city of Piemonte, in the north-western part of Italy. During many years of teaching, we experienced two important elements: the Italian language is closely connected to the geographic area where it is spoken and it changes according to the cultural traditions of the different regions; our language is well known abroad both because it represents high humanistic traditions and, meanwhile, because it recalls a kind of stereotyped images connected to our history and social problems, that are quite contrary to the ideals of our humanism. For these two reasons, we have several teaching sites in Italy where we offer the opportunity to live and realize the subtle Italian diversities in the everyday life and in the various popular, artistic and scientific expressions that should be famous all over the world. Every teaching site is close to the cities' centre but also easily reachable from the main ways, the local airports and the stations.

TEACHING SITES AT THE TEACHERS' HOUSES.
"The Family Courses", our teaching program more and more requested, adopts the house of the teacher - tutor as the site of the course and of the application activities, in order to let our students experience the everyday life, being surrounded by the real practical use of the language.

PROVISIONAL OR ITINERANT TEACHING SITES.
In some important Italian cities, Programma Italiano organises courses and lectures about particular topics that, of course, are connected to the peculiarities of each chosen city: they can be cultural, natural, and business topics. The sites of this kind of courses and lecturers are the hotels where the students stay.

Besides the teaching activity, Programma Italiano offers also the opportunity to stay in beautiful tourist resorts, so that students can join cultural, sport, and healthy activities in the same hotel where they stay, enjoying the climate and the natural environment, too.

THE PROGRAMMA ITALIANO CLUBS.
The cultural and teaching activities of Programma Italiano can be itinerant and take place, in Italy and abroad, at the sites of every university, school and cultural institute that makes requests for them. Of particular importance are those courses, seminars and, generally, cultural activities that are organized at the "Programma Italiano Clubs", situated in our promoters' countries.
